Riding on an unbeaten century by opening batsman Punam Raut, star-studded Railway beat Odisha by 102 runs in a super league match of the Women`s Inter-State Cricket Tournament at Rajkote today. The win fetched Railways four points, while Odisha drew blank.
Electing to bat first, Railways compiled a healthy total of 233 for three in 50 overs and then restricted Odisha to 131 for eight. Madhuri Meheta waged a lone battle for Odisha, hitting 53 off 110 balls.
